The inspiration for the POWR VI Foundation is very personal. We have seen the struggles of dealing with large medical bills after a tough pregnancy or an unexpected diagnosis of a loved one. We’ve witnessed the challenges faced by military and service member families who give so much for our country. We understand the burden of financial difficulty for those raised in a family overwhelmed by credit card debt.
These experiences ignited a passion in us to be part of the solution. We believe in focusing on what we can control — showing up for people when they need it most, fostering resilience, and opening doors that were once closed. With POWR VI, we aim to turn personal values into public impact, creating a legacy of service and support for future generations.
Behind the Name
Our name — POWR VI — comes from the six guiding principles that shape everything we do: Presence, Optimism, Wisdom, Respect, Vision, and Integrity. These values are more than words — they’re the compass that directs our grantmaking, partnerships, and programs.
How We Give
The POWR VI Foundation offers grants to qualified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations whose work aligns with our mission and values. We prioritize partnerships demonstrating measurable health, education, and economic stability impact. Whether through direct funding, event sponsorship, or collaborative programs, we aim to multiply the good being done in our communities.
